How do I clean my copper bottle?
Part of the beauty of un-lacquered copper is the patina it gains over time.To return it to its original sheen, commercial copper cleaners may be used. Any brand that you may find in your grocery or hardware store for cleaning copper can be used.
A natural, chemical free alternative is lemon. Take the cut half of a lemon sprinkled with a small amount salt and gently rub the outside of the bottle. Wash thoroughly with warm soapy water.
To refresh the inside, fill the bottle with equal parts white vinegar and water. Let sit for an hour, empty, and wash thoroughly with warm soapy water.
Also note:
We do our best to sort and send only the most perfect bottles, but please understand if there are slight variances and imperfections in appearance. Copper is a soft metal that dents easily, because of this we cannot accept returns for dented bottles.
Some bottles may arrive with tarnished areas. Please understand that the bottle is not damaged in any way - it is a natural part of the oxidation process.
